About this formula
Vitamin C and zinc both support the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin C is also an antioxidant and is needed to make collagen, and zinc is involved in skin health and in how the body uses protein.
Plain ascorbic acid can be harsh on an empty or sensitive stomach, so we use calcium ascorbate, a buffered, less acidic form of vitamin C. For zinc we use picolinate, a well-absorbed form.
At 15 mg, the zinc stays well below the 40 mg daily upper limit for adults, so it can be taken every day alongside a normal diet.*

How to take it
Take one capsule a day with food. Zinc taken on an empty stomach can cause nausea. Store in a cool, dry place.
Cautions
Long-term use of more than 40 mg of zinc a day from all sources can lower copper levels. If you take antibiotics, take them at least two hours apart from this product.
